Freelance Beatdown - Pilot
Seen this souped up staged reading of my television pilot yet? I know I’ve been pushing it pretty hard lately, but I thought now would be a good time for another push, seeing as how the holidays are wrapping up and showbiz types are returning to their offices.
The pitch: Lee Baron trained at a secret school for black ops assassins… but he dropped out to smoke weed and play guitar. Now he’s got to dredge up his old super-spy skills to make enough cash to keep his band going.
The fight scenes have been rendered in beautiful comic art by Christopher Hastings, the creator of Dr. McNinja. The amazing cast is: Dave Holmes, Scott Gimple, Alison Haislip, Colton Dunn, Alison Becker and Ian Wolterstorff.
